Scratch a smooth haired guinea pig sow was a short notice booking who came to stay with us at the beginning of August for a few days. Scratch’s most endearing feature, which you can see from her photograph are her most amazing large eyes, which instantly reminded me of the semi-animated guinea pig in the film ‘Bedtime Stories’ starring Adam Sandler. A shy little guinea pig, she loved to sit in her large plastic dome munching hay most of the day until tea time when she would become more active standing by her food dish eating fruit and veggies.
