Big Pig and Little Pig are two sows both of whom are just over three and a half years old. Big Pig is the boss, and quite a vocal piggy who liked nothing more than to make wheek, wheek noises especially when the hutch door was opened or the food dishes were being filled with food. Neither of them were bothered about the vitamin C supplement attached to the hutch door and preferred instead to munch their way through good sized portions of mixed veggies and fruit although they each had a disliking for tomatoes (incidentally my own guinea pigs love tomatoes). A large part of the day was spent in the piggy houses chomping hay. These two little darlings are quite a photogenic pair and were a real pleasure to care for.
