radioOur experience in keeping rabbits has shown that playing the radio throughout the day has a beneficial calming effect and also helps contribute to the daily routine.  The radio is switched on at 7.00 in the morning and switched off at 10.00 at night when we do our final checks and lock up for the night.

In unusual circumstances for example the week leading up to and just after Bonfire Night and New Year’s Eve the radio is played 24 hours a day to lessen the potentially stressful noise of fireworks.

During Bonfire Week, and New Year’s Eve regular checks are made throughout the evening to ensure your pet is not alarmed by any noise during these festive periods.

Please note: In the event of your bunny or guinea pig showing signs of stress due to fireworks or adverse weather conditions we will place your pet in his or her carrier and bring them into our home to monitor them until the threat has passed.

Hutches for rabbits and guinea pigs are housed indoors in our Rabbitry, and are available for boarding pets in two sizes:

  • 6 foot by 2 foot deep and 2 foot high
  • 5 foot by 2 foot deep and 2 foot high
