Introduction to Rabbit Diseases

Rabbits are prone to a number of highly contagious diseases, including E.Cuniculi, Coccidiosis and pasturella.  Two equally important diseases which can be vaccinated against are Myxomatosis and Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (VHD), which are extremely serious and fatal viruses, affecting both the domestic and wild rabbit populations worldwide and which remain prevalent in the UK.
