According to the British Rabbit Council Code of Practice,

“The use of good hygiene practice will avoid the build up of fumes in the air it will also discourage flies and other insects, so helping in the prevention of other conditions such as fly strike.”

In addition to our daily housekeeping routine, we ensure that between boarders :-

  • All hutches are sanitised using Tri-Gene high level surface disinfectant and left to dry before the next occupant arrives the following day.
  • Plastic wear including litter trays, tunnels, and domes, are cleaned and disinfected.
  • Ceramic and metal food dishes are cleaned and disinfected above 70 degrees centigrade.
  • Water bottles are brand new for each boarder and never reused and can be taken home after your pets stay
